GIVING

Scripture exemplifies four broad categories of giving. At Anthem Church, we order our finances in the same way:

TITHING Funds contributed by those who call Anthem Church their church home. Ten percent of one’s income, given into the work of the local church, is the starting point illustrated in Scripture.

OFFERINGS Funds contributed from time to time for specific needs (i.e., “Refugee Support” or “Disaster Relief,” etc.) When you give to Anthem Church, please specify on your check or online banking memo where you are directing your funds.

APOSTOLIC Funds contributed specifically for local and “trans-local” (global) apostolic endeavors such as church planting, sending teams to minister in other local churches and evangelistic efforts.

ALMS Funds contributed specifically to help with widows, orphans, the poor or those in temporary need.

BUILDING FUND FOR OUR NEW SPACE AT 3850 W Montrose

Since early 2017 we have been eagerly trusting God to provide a home of our own-- a place to more fully outwork who He has called us to be and to serve as a home base for sharing the love and power of Jesus with Chicago. God is so faithful (intimacy with Him is the sweetest reward of any journey of faith!) and our joy has been to follow closely to His leading. Over two years of searching and of stretching our faith has led us to the building where we feel God has called us to put our roots down.

This is an audacious step of faith, but we are confident that we, as a church, have heard God. We are currently raising funds to provide for the purchase and build-out of this new space, with our first drive ending April 15. You can give using any of the options above (designate "building" in the memo) or by clicking below. Thank you!
