“Exploring Our Leadership Call”
Stretching Higher, Further, Deeper, Wider to Make Our Days Count in God’s Kingdom
Heb 12:1-3 (TPT) As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. 2 We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! 3 So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.

SESSION 2 (daryl & DONNITA TRAVIS)
“The Power of YES” What does saying YES to God look like for you? It's impossible to anticipate the incredible Kingdom impact the other side of saying YES to God. Almost 20 years ago, Donnita Travis said YES to God's call to start By The Hand Club For Kids and her husband, Daryl, said YES to entrusting his wife and business partner to working with youth in Chicago's inner city without knowing the incredible impact it would have on their relationship with each other, with God and with thousands of children and families in Chicago.
SESSION 3 (nathan “BAM” STANTON)
“The Other Side” Jesus was well aware of societal boundaries yet through the power of the Spirit He pressed in and through the veil of fear and of the “other" until it finally tore.
(30 min workshops - attend 2 of your choice)

SHAPED BY GOD’S WORD - GRIFFIN JACKSON
The Bible is our sword, our lamp, and our revelation of the living God. That means we weren't meant to advance the kingdom, see in the darkness, or navigate the unknown without it. Whether you read God's Word every morning or hardly ever, there are ways to go deeper and farther today that will transform tomorrow.
LEADERSHIP BY THE NUMBERS - ERIC STAPLES
Activation the Enneagram to become a better leader
BUILDING CROSS-CULTURAL BRIDGES - NATHAN “BAM” STANTON
Building a bridge many times leaves us out on a limb, right where Jesus wants us to be. We are called to develop a holistic view of society by listening to a diverse group of voices. In this way we allow our worldview to be shaped by those who don’t look like us.
